First some explanation about Blab itself

Nice idea, but don’t municipalities have a certain monopoly position? After all, T-mobile customers can easily switch to another provider, but switching to another municipality is a lot more difficult. “As a result, civil servants do not always feel the urgency of customer contact,” someone in the audience noted. They should, Schmit replied. After all, the resident does not compare the service provision between different municipalities, but sets the service provision of the  qatar phone number library municipality against that of other companies with which he has contact. “If municipalities do not go along with that, you can put a few extra security guards at the counter within four years.”

What is Blab?

Think Periscope and multiply that by four. Live streaming video but in a format where four people can participate in, yes indeed, a Blab. Where Periscope is mainly about you, comments and hearts, Blab gives you the opportunity to involve others in the discussion. That gives a brand enormous opportunities to show its expertise. And therefore a nice tool to use in an inbound strategy. More on that later.

The Blab home screen

Blab is an iPhone app and has a web app. The platform is currently in  elenas is social selling beta but works quite smoothly. After installing, you log in with your Twitter handle, enter your email address and you are in business. The main screen consists of an overview of the different Blabs that are currently running. You can choose categories to narrow down the selection, but that does not seem really necessary at the moment.First some explanation

It’s live streaming, so it’s mostly about the Blabs that are live now of course. But the clean email nice thing is that you can also choose replays or Blabs that are scheduled for the future. The replays are handy because they are always available. This way you can search for topics that you want to learn or know more about. The scheduled Blabs are also handy because you can sign up for them and then get a message when they go live.
