During the month of February 2019! I taught a 20-hour course at a construction company located near Cuatro Torres. It was a highly rewarding experience! as getting to know the concerns of a company and a sector in which I have never worked before is always a challenge. I tried to adapt the course content to their needs and ensure they could take advantage of all the benefits that digital marketing offers .
The course is structured into eight classes! each lasting two and a half hours. I’ve tried to give an overview of web positioning! both organic and paid! delving into Google Ads! Facebook Ads! Google Analytics ! and the many tools available to improve SEO.
SEO vs SEM the the battle ongoing battle
What have we focused on in this course?
The points into which I have divided the agenda have been:

It’s a digital marketing strategy that focuses on what skills are needed to analyst? running paid campaigns to position search results in different search engines. In short! these are the activities! techniques! or strategies developed to improve search rankings on Google or other search engines.
SEO vs SEM when developing our strategy
The dilemma between SEO and SEM has become a classic in any self-respecting digital marketing strategy.
First! let’s look at what SEO is . We often talk be numbers about search engine optimization! web positioning! etc. However! SEO (Search Engine Optimization) is the most accurate term for these techniques! which aim to increase the traffic our website! landing page! or blog receives through various search engines.
We mustn’t forget a couple of concepts that are closely linked to SEO and SEM! namely SMM and SMO ! i.e.! Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization ! the optimization of our advertising and positioning efforts on social networks. This would clearly be the subject of another course if we delved deeper into them.
