Oil prices rise amid falling dollar and US crude inventories

Oil rose on Wednesday as the dollar weakened, U.S. crude inventories fell and Britain approved another coronavirus vaccine,

Oil prices rise but both benchmark contracts were on track to end the year about 20% lower.

Brent crude futures were special database up 45 cents at $51.54 a barrel by 0101 GMT, having started the year above $66. U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude was up 39 cents at $48.39, compared with $62 at the start of 2020.
